Cayenne Pepper Salve For Pain Relief

Cayenne Pepper Salve For Pain Relief

There are many people who consider cayenne pepper to be the king of medicinal herbs.

Cayenne peppers were originally grown in Central and South America. You can use the extracts for food flavouring, pain relief and even boosting your metabolism.

The medicinal herb isn't only known to be an 'at home pain relief remedy', but they are also great for cooking reasons. They contain several beneficial nutrients.

Cayenne Peppers contain capsaicin. A chemical that gives the peppers their spice, but the chemical is reported to have numerous health benefits too. It can relieve topical pain, increase your metabolism and reduce insulin spikes in diabetes.

Introducing Our Cayenne Pepper Salve

Our Cayenne Pepper Salve was formulated with my past experiences battling against arthritis and general aches in mind. I was lightly aware of the health benefits surrounding the extract, but it was my arthritis that inspired me to test the benefits.

With careful research and formulation, I was able to finally launch the Cayenne Pepper Salve. When formulating, I was reliving the experiences battling against arthritis and post-surgery pain. I applied the product to my scar (post-surgery) and the extracts helped to manage my pain, whilst also healing the scar.

Believe it or not... My surgeon was SO impressed by the product, that he actually asked for some samples for his other orients. Result? All of them adored the 'outcomes' that they had noticed.

Heather Grace Skincare Cayenne Pepper Salve

Containing cayenne pepper (which has its pain relief qualities) and Arnica Oil which also has its healing properties , our Cayenne Pepper Salve has a wide range of benefits.

Our Cayenne Pepper Cream may help with:

  • easing migraine pain
  • relieving muscle soreness
  • relieving joint and nerve pain
  • reducing the visibility of scars

Above all else, the product is also a great source of Vitamin A and E.

Scientific evidence does not back up the benefits above. But, researchers have found that extracts existing in cayenne pepper can help in the following ways.

We infuse the cayenne pepper into coconut oil for a minimum of 48 hours.

Relieving Pain

Cayenne Pepper contains capsaicin, an active component, that may have pain-relieving properties.

One article mentioned, when applied topically, capsaicin can help to ease the pain. It does this by reducing the amount of neuropeptide that travels to the brain to signal pain.

With less of this substance travelling to the brain, feelings of pain tend to decrease.

Believe it or not, cayenne pepper has been used in both food and medicine for the last 9,000 years. The spiciness which it brings and the pain-relieving traits have been tried and tested for centuries.

Boost Your Antioxidant Activity

Using cayenne pepper extract can help with relieving pain, scars and arthritis. The extract also has many antioxidants, including:

  • Vitamin A (helping improve vision & promotes a healthy immune system)
  • Vitamin C (growth, development and repair of all your body tissues)
  • Vitamin E (help maintain healthy, skin and eyes)
  • Beta Carotene (supporting eye health and prevents eye disease)

In addition to the antioxidants above, cayenne peppers also have Vitamin B-6, Vitamin K, Folate, Copper, Iron and Zinc.

Heavily rich in the extract, our Cayenne Pepper Salve provides pain relief from home. Your skin will be absorbing the antioxidants as named above too.

It's an all-around, naturally-formulated product that you will inevitably love.

Some Things to Think About

Even though cayenne pepper is a beautiful addition to your meals, and using the extract in salve form  is perfect for relieving pains. You still need to be cautious.

When applied topically as a cream, there are some things that need to be considered:

  • It shouldn't be applied to your face
  • Do not apply the product on wounds or areas of broken skin
  • Too much application can cause irritation, burning and itching
  • Wash your hands immediately after use

Our cayenne pepper salve is also not intended to cure, treat, diagnose or cure any disease. Please do not use if you are allergic to any of its ingredients (can be found on product description).

Final thoughts:

Cayenne Pepper contains a compound called capsicum, which is known for its pain-relieving properties.

It's a great addition to your meals, but using the extract in a topical salve form can help with sore muscles, arthritis, scarring and general aches.

Make sure you don't use the medicinal herb excessively, as you could potentially experience some side effects.
